Jimmy taught me everything I knew about Triumph engines from the time we first met in 1968 and our shared interest in motorcycles led to a friendship which has lasted over 50 years, although mostly by phone since I left the UK -Jim was not keen on emails! Working on car repairs together in the eighties when we became neighbours again and watched our kids growing up was also a memorable time. To me he was my friend and I shall never forget him. I have a stock of memories in my head of our times together. Ted
